Care Quality Commission (CQC)
Hyde Park Clinic has been through the Care Quality Commission registration process, gaining full certification in October 2009.
Until late 2010 it was illegal to operate a Laser or Intense Pulsed Light service without this registration. The Government has decided that that the risk to the public is not sufficient to justify the allocation of scarce resources to the monitoring of this type of enterprise. In general, the CQC focuses its efforts on hopsitals and care homes in the public and private sectors.
Although Hyde Park Clinic is no longer required to be registered with the organisation, the Clinic continues to operate according to the standards set by the CQC - which ensures that the safety of the client takes priority.
